Dinner at the Schweiss's

A few weeks ago we had dinner with Bob, Nancy, Matthew and Elliot Schweiss. The boys entertained us with a magic show, and Bob got some great shots of Ted and Richard.

Feeling Better!

Richard is feeling better - thanks for all of your good wishes! On Sunday, Aunty Karen came over, and babysat Richard while we went to Valentine's day brunch.

Sickness is Such a Drag...

Let me preface this by saying that Richard is on the mend, and I have been assured he is in no danger. But last week Richard got RSV and, since he has apparently inherited my delicate lungs, he has experienced some complications, including bronchiolitis and pneumonia. He also has an ear infection. We've had two ER visits and an overnight hospital stay - though sick he was still charming all of the nurses. Here he is in his nebulizer mask (he only has to wear this for about 10 minutes, 1-3 times/day). It has a dinosaur on it, and he is getting used to wearing it. Anyways, think good thoughts, keep your fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.

Cruisin'

Sunday we had great weather so we took Richard for a walk and to the park. He was a big hit in his new sunglasses and particularly enjoyed the bouncy car.

Pass the Steak!

Here's Richard in some snazzy overalls from Grandma Sheppard. If you click on the photo, and look carefully, you can see his first tooth, on his lower left. His second tooth, right next to it, made an appearance this morning, and the upper teeth are not far behind.
